Here is my (second!) attempt to make a writing system using only emoji. I attempt to systematize the format more and stop using rebuses. I try to keep the symbol usage as handwriting-friendly as possible.

Lemma Structure

All lemmas contain a root symbol, which lies along the midline. Lemmas may contain simple syntactic marks below the root symbol to indicate their contextual syntax (eg. word type, plurality, tense...). Lemmas may also contain one or two further symbols above the root symbol, called semantic marks, to disambiguate its sense.

Syntactic Marks

The placement of syntactic marks is inspired by iConji.

In verbs, the order of syntactic marks is generally mood → aspect → tense → person → number → gender. Markers can often be dropped if their meaning is contextually obvious. For example the singular marker is often omitted.

Semantic Marks

The placement of semantic marks is inspired by Blissymbols.

Dictionary

The mark types have color-coded backgrounds to indicate type. Blue means "root symbol", yellow means "semantic mark", magenta means "syntactic mark".
